If you always wanted to know what it’s like to be part of the cabin crew, you can now experience it with the consumer version of the professional airplane flight attendant simulator by AVIAR. However, be prepared: this game isn’t just about serving drinks to high demand customers. This VR training software is used by airlines and flight schools to train future cabin crew members for all kinds of situations. According to CEO and co-founder Grigorii Rodionov, the launch of this game will help gain traction for the services of AVIAR.
Amongst other airlines, Lufthansa is one of the users of the professional airplane flight attendant simulator developed by AVIAR. The Dutch developer of aviation VR software has now brought this game to the public with a consumer version of their simulation software for cabin crew. Airline Flight Attendant Simulator VR will be available on December 15th on VR headsets for PCs via Steam as well as for Meta Quest 2 via Air Link.
Free marketing for AVIAR
Grigorii Rodionov, CEO and co-founder, commented to Rocking Reality on why they brought this game to market: “In August, we launched our Ground Operations VR training software on Steam. After being on Steam for four months, we can say [this marketing tactic] works! It helps us spread brand and product awareness globally, let aviation specialists try our products themselves and prove that our software is optimized and runs smoothly with extremely realistic visuals.”
Now they also do this form of marketing for VR simulation for flight attendants. “We don’t spend any of our marketing budget right now and we even get revenue from it. Of course, the Steam version can’t be used for commercial purposes. Organizations must get a corporate license to use it for training. But everyone likes to try something before they proceed to purchase, so try this at home,” says Rodionov.
Airplane flight attendant simulator isn’t for the faint of heart
The consumer version of this airplane flight attendant simulator isn’t just about serving drinks to snappy or drunk customers. Your main job is to save all your passengers, other flight crew and hopefully yourself too during extreme conditions. You’ll prepare the safety equipment before the flight and demonstrate it to the passengers. And, in this case, you’ll definitely have to use them too.
Missions that are part of this airplane flight attendant simulator are rapid and slow aircraft depressurization. Also, you’ll have to deal with smoke and fire in different parts of the plane, and an emergency landing on land and on sea. Due to the total immersion using VR, you’ll experience some terrifying scenarios, including a realistic virtual aircraft, gravity effects and sounds. Are you ready to take this job?
