Changi Airport Group (CAG) has launched ChangiVerse, a digital metaverse experience of Singapore Changi Airport on Roblox, in partnership with Accenture. The experience offers visitors access to a range of activities and social experiences. With it, CAG is looking to boost customer engagement and brand loyalty. They want to do that by revolutionizing traveler and visitor experience.
Changi Airport Group (CAG) has teamed up with consultancy agency Accenture to launch ChangiVerse, a digital metaverse experience of Singapore Changi Airport on the gaming platform Roblox. There, the audience can explore the airport’s sights. It is the first virtual experience being developed by an airport on the platform. With millions of daily users, Roblox provides a growing audience that want to explore travel destinations differently, and the metaverse experience adds a new dimension to boost customer acquisition, engagement and brand loyalty.
Changi Airport but digital
ChangiVerse is a digital representation of the physical airport where visitors can access a range of activities and social experiences. The experience is organized around the airport’s familiar landmarks, such as the indoor waterfall at Jewel, the Changi control tower and outdoor dinosaur display attraction at Jurassic Mile. With ChangiVerse, the airport hopes to integrate in-game moments across its attractions. Users can explore other spaces as well, such as a café or festive glamping tent. They can also compete in minigames, such as Changi Kart or Check-in Champ, and earn unique collectibles.

Revolutionize travel and visitor experience
The metaverse experience is part of CAG’s ongoing efforts to revolutionize traveler and visitor experience through creativity and interactive technology. The experience on Roblox should add a new dimension to boost customer acquisition, engagement and brand loyalty. CAG made the experience in collaboration with Accenture’s Metaverse Continuum Business Group.
