XCMG Machinery, a Shenzhen Stock Exchange-listed company, has announced the launch of its updated industrial internet platform, HANYUN OS 2023, at the 2023 Industrial Internet Conference. Among the several enhancements, a key feature of this release is the incorporation of digital twin technology.
Digital twins, a concept gaining traction in the industrial sector, refer to virtual replicas of physical devices that data scientists and IT professionals can use to run simulations before actual devices are built and deployed. They are increasingly being employed for predictive analysis, preventative maintenance, and improving operational efficiency.
The new HANYUN OS aims to leverage this technology, along with five other core technologies—embedded edge computing, production process simulation, big data mining, low-code technology, and AI—to promote the digital and intelligent transformation of industries.
XCMG HANYUN’s digital twin is part of the OS’s three key platform upgrades, which also include enhancements to the HANYUN Industrial Internet and HANYUN Digital Thread.
In addition to the advancements in digital twin technology, XCMG HANYUN, during the conference, showcased its innovative applications and accomplishments related to the integrated solution of industrial internet and industry park.
