Employment agency Unique opens a branch in the metaverse, called Uniqueverse. With this metaverse, the employment agency wants to give candidates the opportunity to apply anonymously. “We think it is important not only to look at someone’s work history. According to Unique, the current generation of employees is increasingly asking for non-traditional job opportunities. That is why the employment agency is preparing for the next era in which digital job applications with a human touch will be taken to the next phase, says Mandy Stevens. “That next stage is the metaverse.” The location in the metaverse that Unique has opened has been given the name Uniqueverse.
The Uniqueverse was opened on November 12, 2022 during a launch party at the Eye Filmmuseum. At this location in the metaverse, candidates can take advantage of unbiased application, according to Unique. They do this because they can look around anonymously with their avatar, map their talents and competencies in an interactive way and meet Unique recruiters.
Branch in the metaverse for inclusivity

By applying anonymously, the competencies and someone’s talents are central. That fits in with Unique’s working method.” In addition to anonymous job applications via the metaverse, Unique also works on inclusive job applications through a strict anti-discrimination policy and the use of diversity recruiters.
